Players who set sail away from the Burning Sea over the last two years have been given another option to return to Sony Online Entertainment's pirate game at no cost until March 5. The following press release was posted on the PotBS site last Friday:

Quests from previous years are in-game again, and the dev teams have also added some new rewards for those who may already have the old items.

It’s hard to believe that it has already been three years since Vanguard: Saga of Heroes released to the public. I remember those days well, having played through the beta. It was a time without riftways, without the Isle of Dawn, a time when factions meant you could easily be killed if you tried to go play with your friends elsewhere in Telon.

Sony Online Entertainment LLC (SOE) today announced that more than eight million unique users have registered to play Free Realms (www.FreeRealms.com), the free-to-play, family-friendly hit online video game.  Free Realms has steadily increased its player base by continuing to support development of compelling content and shared user experience.  New features, such as Player Housing, have encouraged players to customize and create their own unique definitions of gameplay, while instigated Live World Events and player parties engage the community at large, allowing players to interact, discover and explore.

What's better then poking around the Sentinel's Fate beta server on your own? Being guided through some of the wondrous zones and experiencing it with hundreds of your closest friends, of course! That was the plan at 4 p.m. PST on Feb. 5, as Alan "Brenlo" Crosby, Senior Producer of EverQuest II, showed players and fans what they could expect from the 6th expansion, Sentinel's Fate.

Part 1: Asmodian Titles

Ever wonder why everyone in Aion seems to be sporting a title over their head? Unlike most games, the titles in Aion actually serve a purpose. Each one gives your character bonuses to stats depending on the title you activate. There are titles for each side (Asmodian and Elyos) for questing as well as PvP. Today, I'll go over the list of Asmodian titles, as well as what levels you can earn them at and which quest will give them to you. Of course, I'll also let you know which stats get boosted with the title -- after all, it's not just for show!
