Because it's never too early in a game's life cycle to try and win back lapsed subscribers, Trion Worlds is letting players return to Rift for free until next Tuesday, July 19, so they can experience the updates to the game, including the current event, Waves of Madness, a new phase of which was launched this week.
New players who find themselves separated from their friends can also take advantage of the recently implemented free shard transfers to move their characters or their entire guilds.
