Daevas rejoice! NCSoft has revealed details on a new PvP-centric update for Aion just in time for the game's two-year anniversary. Also on the docekt are a variety of celebrations and festivals, scheduled to take place over the next 10 days.
Update 2.7 will go live on the public test server on Oct. 13 and across live servers on Oct. 19. Two new PvP arenas will be unveiled: the Arena of Discipline, for one-on-one fights between Daevas, and the Arena of Chaos for larger-scale battles. PvE fans can look forward to a new 48-person instanced boss fight in
Padmarashka’s Cave and the requisite new loot drops. You can learn more about these new arenas here and here.
In the meantime, amuse yourself with the Ascension Festival, which lasts until Oct. 2, combined with a welcome back weekend for returning players and double XP rewards. For more on the festival, click here.
