KingsIsle Entertainment today added a new mount to the in-game Crown shop for Wizard101, a "Chrismoose" mount that's available for 7,500 Crowns, and, in what has become a yearly tradition, the company will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the mount to Texas charities.
The two charities are the Austin Children's Center in Austin and the Children's Medical Center at Legacy in Plano. Also, from today until Dec. 21, KingsIsle will introduce new perks for holiday-lovers, including discounts on popular items, giveaways, a poetry contest, and other special surprises.
"Over the last two years, KingsIsle and the Wizard101 community have raised over $ 180,000 for children's charities in Texas and around the country," said Elie Akilian, chairman and CEO of KingsIsle Entertainment. "This year, with the launch of a festive Chrismoose mount, we plan to raise another $ 50,000 to benefit two extraordinary Texas organizations."
