World of Warcraft Turns Seven

E-mail Print

thumb_WoWlogoToday marks the seventh anniversary of the launch of World of Warcraft, which made its debut on Nov. 23, 2004 -- at least, that's what Wikipedia says, and when is it ever wrong? To commemorate the event, Blizzard is offering all players an item that grants a 7% boost to XP as well as some nifty visual effects.

If Blizzard telling you more about upcoming content is how you'd like to celebrate, check out the newly released Mists of Pandaria talent calculator or all the goodies coming in Patch 4.3. Or, if you're really talented, take a crack at entering the Student Art Contest or even applying for an internship with Blizzard for summer 2012. As an FYI, wo-time Massive Online Gamer cover artist Paul Kwon, whose art appears on the most recent issue of the magazine, interned at Blizzard in 2010, so you never know where such an opportunity might lead you!
