The Umbra Blade - Dealing Death for Zero Pips!
In issue 20 of Massive Online Gamer, which is currently on sale now, readers can find a code for the Umbra Blade, a weapon that characters can use in Wizard101. The blade adds five cards to your deck, which cast Major Chill, a death spell that does 75 base damage to a single enemy for zero pips.
I've come across other weapons like the blade in the game that deal 50-70 base damage from various schools of magic, but as far as I've seen, this one deals out the most damage at 75. Being a part of the death school myself, I also really love the fact that they work well with my death-related trap and blade spells. If you're not of the death school, it just gives you a much wider variety of schools to attack with, which means that if you come up against enemies that are resistant to one of your schools of magic, you'll have some death power in your corner to help back you up.
The biggest advantage to this blade is that it costs zero pips to cast, making it a great opening spell to toss out. Pair this up with a two pip spell and you can easily two-shot monsters with around 300 health; unleash two of these along with a three pip spell and boss monsters with 500 health can basically kiss their butts goodbye!
