The lands of Dragonica are rich in magic and myth. Once the site of epic conflicts between Humans and Dragons, an age of peace has descended upon its inhabitants. Yet the evil dragon Elga, long ago imprisoned at the hands of five legendary warriors, stirs in his captivity. Finally released by an unlikely agent, it will take the strength of new heroes to face his forces in battle.
So be warned! Should you take up the challenge, prepare yourself for an adventure like none other. You'll brave lush worlds filled with devious (yet adorable!) creatures waiting to best you in battle, an incredible 3D side-scrolling perspective that lets you hop in and out of elaborate worlds, and furious real-time combat that will challenge your abilities as a warrior and strategist.
Choose Your Class
The first choice you'll make in Dragonica Online is setting up your character. There are four base classes to choose from, all of which can blossom into more advanced forms after you progress in ability.
Warriors are the bravest class, never hesitating to rush to the frontline. With powerful melee attacks and strong support skills, a valiant Warrior can turn the tide of any battle, no matter the odds.
Magicians command the very elements themselves, shaping them into potent attack spells or defensive charms. Best employing their skills from a distance, having a well-disciplined Magician as an ally can spell the difference between victory and defeat.
Archers utilize bows and arrows to swiftly devastate enemy ranks. Nimble speed matched with the ability to fire several attack volleys at varying velocities makes the Archer a deadly adversary to a slow-moving foe.
Thieves carefully conceal their steel claws until the moment before striking, using surprise and subterfuge to pummel enemies with devastating blows. Masters of the unexpected, opponents who underestimate the Thief's power soon find themselves taken out of the fight quicker than anticipated.
Skills and Combos
After creating your character, the next step is to train up on combat basics. In Dragonica Online, combat is fast and furious. Make sure to practice basic combos in the tutorial before venturing forth into the untamed wilderness.
As you progress in level throughout your travels you'll earn Skill Points, which can be exchanged for advanced skills. Learn new Active Skills and incorporate them into your combos for maximum damage! Your Combo Counter also keeps track of how many consecutive hits you have scored on enemies, and the higher your combo climbs, the higher your EXP bonus will be. Keep trying different variations to master the ultimate combo.
Redeeming Coupons
Have an event coupon? Right this way! To redeem any coupons you might receive for Dragonica Online's in-game events, go to any town and look for the big blue Cat-like fellow named Gatto. Click on him and select 'Redeem Coupon' to be taken to a list of all currently active coupons, and find your event. Select the event, click 'Redeem,' input your code and check your inventory (default is the "I" key) for your prize!
