GW2 ActivitiesGuild Wars 2 content designer John Stumme has written a developer blog on the ArenaNet website about activities, those things that you can do within the game when you're tired of "stick(ing) things with the pointy end of your sword until your numbers don't go up anymore." In other words, the game is going to have mini-games!  He's talking bar brawls and shooting ranges and snowball fights.

"Whether activities are a pit stop on your path to greatness, a way to unwind with friends at the end of a long adventure, or something challenging to master, Guild Wars 2 has something to offer you. Whatever your interest, we’ve got your game."

You can read the full developer blog at Arena.net.
