Beckett Massive Online Gamer's Most Influential Women in MMOs.
Massive Online Gamer has listed their top 20 people in MMOs for two years running, 2008 and 2009. In 2009, one woman received a mention although she did not make the top 20. Where are the women in MMOs? Further research showed that they are often in the support areas of the MMO industry,
such as Community, Marketing and although they are also in Art and Game Development, they are seldom in high visibility positions. So we've decided it's time to shine the limelight on these unsung heroines in our industry. In issue #21, we will publish our list of top 10 most influential women in MMOs of 2008/2009 and this is your chance to nominate someone whom you think is worthy of being on this list.
