The 2009 GDC Austin event included people from every aspect of the MMO industry. Developers, designers, producers, editors, marketing, human resources and public relations. It was a great place to do business and meet people face-to-face. Many of the larger companies were also there looking to hire people for their games. When companies are looking to hire, that's always a good sign. After a long day of meetings and walking the show floor, the crew from Massive Online Gamer was invited to attend a private GDC dinner with some big stars from the MMO industry. Several of the people in attendance also happened to be on MOG's 2009 Top 20 Most Influential People in the MMO Industry list . Stories of past and present games and their companies were the biggest topics of conversation. Here's a look at the attendees from the dinner.
