Gaming as a Family
By Stephanie Morrow
If you’re looking for a family style MMO that has a unique method of combat, you’ll want to sink your teeth into Wizard 101. Released in the summer of 2008 by Kingslsle Entertainment, this game is friendly towards all ages and provides some great content and entertainment no matter the player. Not to mention you can try a large helping of the beginning content for free before deciding if you want to upgrade your account and access other areas through subscription (or you can also purchase crowns and use those as currency to unlock zones one at a time).

Another look at what makes this game so special
Over the months we’ve done a few guides for Wizard101 here at Beckett Massive Online Gamer, showing players what they can expect from Wizard City, Krokotopia and Grizzleheim, as well as basic introductions to the game. This time we’re going to do something a little different simply because there are far too many new and exciting things coming to the game NOT to say something about them! If you are a long time player then you’re already familiar with all of these changes, but for those who have never played before or who are just starting, this article should show you exactly why Wizard101 is the fantastic game that it is.

Part 2: Elyos Titles
Earlier this week I shared part 1 of this feature, where I talked about and listed the Asmodian titles and why players would benefit from activating them. Of course, to make things fair I've got to post the titles for the Elyos side, too. Remember, in Aion titles are not just for show; each title grants the player special stats and gameplay boosts. Plus, if you're like me, you simply like collecting these titles to add to your bragging rights.

Part 1: Asmodian Titles
Ever wonder why everyone in Aion seems to be sporting a title over their head? Unlike most games, the titles in Aion actually serve a purpose. Each one gives your character bonuses to stats depending on the title you activate. There are titles for each side (Asmodian and Elyos) for questing as well as PvP. Today, I'll go over the list of Asmodian titles, as well as what levels you can earn them at and which quest will give them to you. Of course, I'll also let you know which stats get boosted with the title -- after all, it's not just for show!

There are a lot of different ways to enhance and better your gear in Aion, and I wanted to go over them briefly for players so that you could see what those differences were. After all, when you're constantly looking over your shoulder trying to make sure that you're not about to be killed, it's always best to be at the top of your game, whether you're doing some PvE questing, or PvPing in the Abyss.
